The napkin man

This is my vent for the day.
The napkin man showed up at the motel. He is an older guy who has a few mental problems. Radiation for one. He is obsessed with it. When he checks in he has to have a room in the corner of the building, no window facing the parking lot or the street. He then unscrews every light bulb, covers the mirror with toothpaste and then places napkins on the toothpaste so the mirror can not reflect any radiation on him. Hence the name the napkin man. finally he unplugs the Television and turns it towards the wall covering it with several towels. He was put in the wrong room one night, New girl, and came complaining to me in the morning that he had to sleep on the floor because of the radiation from the parkinglot melted his brain and oozed out of his eys. His eyes leaked all night and could not possible stay in that room one minute longer.

When he finally leaves the housekeepers have one hell of a time cleaning all the napkins and toothpaste off everything and putting the room back together.

He is just one of the colorful people that come to visit, sometimes when he comes he is a college professor, he has beeen a private detective, and business man who is opening an office in town. The business... Radiation detector.

He is quite the guy.
